C'est un mardi matin ensoleillé à Paris. Marie, une étudiante américaine, entre dans un charmant café près de la Tour Eiffel. Elle apprend le français depuis six mois et veut pratiquer.
Le serveur s'approche avec un grand sourire. "Bonjour mademoiselle, que désirez-vous ?"
Marie regarde le menu et répond fièrement : "Je voudrais un café au lait, s'il vous plaît. Et aussi... un croissant avec de la confiture de coudes."
