C'est mars à Paris. Il pleut et il fait encore froid. Dans un petit immeuble du 11ème arrondissement, Émilie rentre chez elle après une longue journée de travail. Elle ouvre la porte de son appartement et remarque immédiatement un problème : il fait très froid à l'intérieur !
"Oh non," dit Émilie. Elle touche le radiateur. Il est complètement froid. "Une panne de chauffage, exactement ce dont j'ai besoin en mars !"
Elle met un gros pull, une écharpe et des chaussettes épaisses. Puis, elle entend quelqu'un frapper à sa porte. C'est Antoine, son voisin du dessus.
